Is your cat or dog your safe place? Does it feel like a sort of therapy to run your hands over their soft fur? Or listen to their breathing slow down with their head in your lap? Or see their face light up with excitement when you come home to them?

While animals might be a big part of our lives, we are their whole lives. We walk and feed them, we pat and cuddle them and they are always happy to see us. I don't know about you but I'm always happy to see them too.
